An Osprey eats a fish in South Bimini, Bahamas.
Osprey, sometimes called Fish Eagles or Sea Hawks, tend to live along coasts, rivers, lakes, marshes and wetlands. 99 percent of their diet is fish, which they sight from 30-130 feet above, and then dive in the water feet first to capture. To facilitate hunting, they are able to close their nostrils when underwater, and have a reversible outer toe which allows them to grip with two toes in front and two in back, to better secure slippery fish.
